British Couple and Actor’s Mother Found Murdered in France

A British couple was found dead in their French house, and French authorities are looking into their death.

According to the BBC, Andrew and Dawn Searle’s remains were discovered at their Les Pesquiès house at 12:20 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, after a neighbor called the police to report them missing from a scheduled dog walk.

According to a French news station, Villefranche-de-Rouergue Mayor Jean-Sébastien Orcibal declared that the couple’s death was a homicide.

Dawn was discovered naked outside the house, according to neighbors who spoke to The Telegraph. There were fragments of her jewelry all around her, and she had sustained head trauma.

Officials have refused to talk about the matter.

According to the Scotsman, public prosecutor Nicolas Rigot-Muller said in a statement, “I am waiting to know the date and the result of the autopsies, as well as what comes back from the initial investigations, so that I can share tangible information.”

The Scotsman claimed that Dawn, a project manager, and Andrew, a veteran fraud detective, had retired to France some ten years prior.

According to the BBC, Callum Kerr, an actor from Virgin River and Monarch, is Dawn’s son.

When his mother married Andrew in France in 2023, Kerr escorted her down the aisle.

According to the BBC, he stated on social media that “not many people can say they walked their own mother down the aisle.” “What a joy. I cherish you, mother.

As Orcibal stated in an interview with The Telegraph, the pair “had a very rich social life.”

He claimed that these individuals were quite well-known in the community. “They were British but they really wanted to integrate into local life.”

Every day, they walked their two pedigree dogs beside the river. Additionally, they would pause and converse with anyone they encountered for more than a brief “bonjour.” They were really polite and friendly.
