On Sunday, the 31-year-old model and singer took the stage at Mexico’s Coronoa Capital Festival and stunned the audience with some big news.
Waterhouse, clad in a sparkling pink minidress, a fluffy coat, fringe-trimmed boots, and glittery tights, remarked in a fan-captured video released on X (previously Twitter), “I’m extra sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on.”
As the crowd exploded in applause, she flapped open her coat to reveal a baby bulge.
“I’m not sure if it’s working,” she joked before starting her act.
Waterhouse has been dating Robert Pattinson for more than five years. She and The Batman star were initially romantically linked in July 2018, when a source told PEOPLE they were “dating” after being spotted out in London with some PDA.During the COVID-19 epidemic, the duo began living together in London, where he filmed his titular superhero role in The Batman.
An insider told PEOPLE at the time that their relationship appeared to be “on the fast track.”
“They are very loved-up,” observed the source in July 2020. “They haven’t been together for very long.” But everything seemed to be moving quickly. They are constantly laughing and smiling at one another.”
Pattinson had stated on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in February that seeing Waterhouse’s reaction to The Batman “kind of changed the entire thing” for him.
“I’m pretty sure she’s not normally into watching superhero films,” he remarked. “And just seeing that it had her attention the whole time, and then she held my hand and touched it [to her face], and I could feel a little tear.” ‘No way!’ I said.
Waterhouse discussed her long-term connection with Pattinson in an interview with The Sunday Times in February 2023.
“I’m shocked that I’ve been so happy with someone for nearly five years,” she added, adding that the couple never misses each other for more than two months. “I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question I’m going back to see him.”
Waterhouse also revealed that she still feels “incredibly excited” when she sees Pattinson’s name on her phone.
“I think he feels the same way about me,” she said. “We’ve always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious.”
The couple attended the Met Gala together for the first time in May. The Daisy Jones & The Six star looked stunning in a sheer floral gown, while the Twilight alum looked dashing in a tailored blue suit with a sweeping pleated skirt.
