Kim Kardashian is expanding her already impressive resume.
Netflix has confirmed that 43-year-old reality TV star The Kardashians will both produce and feature in the upcoming female-driven comedy film The 5th Wheel.
Kim Kardashian is going to be The Fifth Wheel, Netflix said on Sunday, November 26 via X, formerly Twitter. She will co-produce and star with writer Janine Brito and producer and writer Paula Pell.
The revelation was initially made public earlier this month by Deadline. According to the site, the founder of Skims has actively participated in pitching the comedy and has attended all of the meetings.
Kardashian is not a first-time actor. The reality personality most recently made an appearance in American Horror Story’s 12th season, which debuted in September. Emma Roberts, Matt Czuchry, and Cara Delevingne are also featured in the most recent season, Delicate.

In her first performance, Kardashian as publicist Siobhan Walsh said something unexpectedly offensive. Then tell me to suck my c—t, Daniels. She said, “She’s not skipping a press day for a f—king commercial shoot,” before addressing Anna, played by Roberts. “Being better than everyone wears you out.”
Us Weekly was given unique access to a source who discussed Kardashian’s experience on set prior to her appearance. The insider stated in June, “Kim was thrilled to finally start filming last month. This project has been months and months in the works.” Kim says, “This is once in a lifetime opportunity, and she can’t wait for everyone to see the finished product.”

In order to get ready for her part on the show, Kardashian also disclosed that she had enrolled in acting school. Kardashian said, “You know, it’s a challenge [but] I like to challenge myself,” during the Met Gala in 2023.
Before starring in American Horror Story, Kardashian voiced a character in two PAW Patrol films and had minor appearances in Disaster Movie, Last Man Standing, and Drop Dead Diva. In October 2021, she also started presenting Saturday Night Live.

In addition to acting, Kardashian plans to take the bar test in February 2025 in her pursuit of a legal career. Kardashian acknowledged considering a full-time legal career after considering leaving reality TV.
“I joke that I’m just going to be an attorney because Kim K. is retiring, and my mom is my manager. “So you can go help my siblings [and] you can still have a job,” she remarked, addressing mother Kris Jenner, during the 2023 Time100 Summit in April.
“I would be just as happy doing that as I would be being an attorney full-time,” she concluded. My eyes were simply opened to so much by the journey,” she said. The sheer amount of work that has to be done can be daunting. Without cameras, I would definitely spend more time doing it.
