With the premiere of his new music video for his song “Procura,” which he unveiled during his concert in Washington D.C. in October, the singer disclosed that he and Gomez are expecting their first child.
Maluma revealed during his Capital One Arena performance that he would show the audience his new song video. With that, he sat on the stage to witness the premiere. Fans received their first look at some of his more intimate moments, including his growing family and his child’s sex reveal.
Maluma, whose true name is Juan Luis Londoo Arias, and Gomez are seen having fun on excursions together in the song video. The film then turns to the couple leaving the doctor’s office, where Gomez is seen having an ultrasound. As he sees the image of his baby for the first time, the “Segn Quién” singer plainly feels upset.

During the gender reveal party, Maluma slipped in a hint about what they were going to name their kid by focusing the camera on a diamond necklace Gomez wore that spelt out the name “Paris.”
In an interview with NPR, the singer later confirmed the name, adding, “Paris, our beautiful daughter, she’s growing within her mother’s tummy and she offers me many reasons to keep dreaming… Right now, she’s everything to me.”
He went on to say that becoming a father was “such a big dream” for him, and that he often sings to Gomez’s tummy in the hopes that his daughter can hear him.
“It’s perfect timing,” said Maluma. “I mean, all the wonderful things that I’m experiencing. I’m searching for more intimate encounters as well. I adore music. I enjoy being on tour, but I also want to grow as a person, not just as an artist.”
