Rim of the World (2019)

“Rim of the World,” a sci-fi adventure film directed by McG, centers on a gang of outcast teens who decide to save Earth from what appears to be an alien invasion. When the children are given a key that holds the key to halting the aliens, their summer camp becomes a battlefield.

But if they choose to cooperate, which is the only way to save the earth, they must first resolve their disagreements. The Adam Project (2022)

Shawn Levy is the director of the acclaimed sci-fi adventure picture “The Adam Project,” which stars Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, and Jennifer Garner. It centers on time travel, following Adam Reed (played by Reynolds) in 2050 and Walker Scobell, who is 12 years old in 2022, as they search for their father, Louis (played by Ruffalo). The goal is to destroy his time travel invention, also known as the Adam Project, which would give villain Maya Sorian (Catherine Keener) the greatest amount of power in the world if it were to fall into her hands. Space Sweepers (2021)

The plot of the South Korean space adventure drama “Space Sweepers” revolves around a group of space sweepers who profit from the sale of space garbage. They seek a ransom to return a kid robot named Dorothy that is a hazardous weapon with the potential to cause mass catastrophe and is sought by the UTS Corporation.

Dorothy is soon shown to be a human with nanobots inside of her, and the UTS chief wants her for his sinister purposes. This film, which is regarded as the first Korean space film hit, tells us how the crew defends the infant while fighting the UTS forces. My Oni Girl (2024)

Migration (2023)

An animated film called “Migration” tells the story of a family of ducks, known as mallards, that migrate from Jamaica to New England in an exciting and entertaining journey. Mack Mack (voiced by Kumail Nanjiani), his wife Pam (voiced by Elizabeth Banks), and their kids Dax (played by Caspar Jennings) and Gwen (voiced by Tresi Gazal) make up the family.

When a storm causes them to lose their way, they find themselves in a strange environment (a city), which brings with it a variety of strange circumstances, creatures, and conditions. We get a fun-filled drama that is emphasized by the oddball warmth and humor of unity as the mallard family collaborates to solve the challenges so they can continue their voyage. A Boy Called Christmas (2021)

An elderly woman (Maggie Smith) tells three kids a narrative that reveals the plot of “A Boy Called Christmas.” It is set on Christmas Eve and centers on 13-year-old Nikolas (played by Henry Lawfull) and his pet mouse, Miika, as they search for Elfhelm, a legendary elven home. Gil Kenan is the director of “A Boy Called Christmas,” which is based on Matt Haig’s 2015 book. The Sea Beast (2022)

“The Sea Beast,” an animated drama directed by Chris Williams, is set in a world where people and water creatures are at war. “The Magician’s Elephant,” which was directed by Wendy Rogers, is based on the children’s book of the same name by Kate DiCamillo. The coming-of-age tale centers on a little boy named Peter (voiced by Noah Jupe), who visits a fortune teller in pursuit of his missing sister and is instructed to locate the magician’s elephant. In another scene, Peter’s sister Adele (voiced by Pixie Davies) also has a dream about an elephant that takes her to her brother. Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (2018)

Rudyard Kipling’s timeless character, Mowgli, the wild kid, is reimagined in Andy Serkis’ live-action/CG film “Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle.” The movie centers on Mowgli (Rohan Chand), a human who was raised by wolves when he was a baby (Nisha is his adoptive mother). He shares his behaviors with animals, particularly his wolf family, because he was raised in the jungle. He is constantly accompanied by his buddies, Bagheera, a black panther, and Baloo, a brown bear from the Himalayas. But Shere Khan, the crafty Bengal Tiger, is the one who despises people and, as a result, is waiting for the ideal opportunity to kill Mowgli. He isn’t Mowgli’s only foe, either, because the jungle is a never-ending source of perilous surprises, some of which date back to his early years. With a gifted voice cast that includes Christian Bale as Bagheera, Andy Serkis as Baloo, Benedict Cumberbatch as Shere Khan, and Naomie Harris as Nisha, “Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle” adds a layer of animation to the adventure spectacle by using motion capture to place the actors’ faces on the animals and give them personalities. Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio (2022)

Carlo Collodi’s 1883 Italian children’s fantasy book “The Adventures of Pinocchio” served as the inspiration for Guillermo Del Toro’s Academy Award-winning stop-motion film. Set in fascist Italy, the movie centers on Pinocchio (Gregory Mann), who attempts to earn some cash for his woodcarver creator, Geppetto (David Bradley).
