For the French heist action comedy, Mélanie Laurent serves as both the director and the star. The movie centers on two professional thieves who do heists for their boss, Marraine (Isabelle Adjani): Carole (Laurent), a thief, and Alex (Adèle Exarchopoulos), a sharpshooter. But Marraine isn’t prepared to grant Carole and Alex the independence they so desperately desire.
