Daisy Dove, Katy Perry’s daughter, has so much love for her.
Perry’s 3-year-old daughter made her first public appearance during a stretch of the Saturday evening performance of her Las Vegas residency, Play, during the singer’s farewell concert.
While Perry, 39, was getting ready to perform her 2008 hit song “Hot n Cold,” she paused to give a quick shout-out to her child, whom she welcomed with fiancé Orlando Bloom in August 2020.
“Haha! Fan-captured video of Perry saying, “I love you so much,” was posted on X (previously known as Twitter). “You’re my best friend, I’m so glad you’re here.”
“I’m gonna sing this next song — I think you know it?” The pleased mother went on, addressing her daughter personally who was in the crowd wearing a Minnie Mouse costume.

During one of the show’s segments, just before Perry ended her last Vegas residency, the “Roar” singer thanked Daisy and everyone else who had contributed to the success of Play.
The singer honored 46-year-old Bloom for being “an amazing father” and “an incredible support system” in a video that was also posted on X by an audience member. With a focus on their little daughter, Perry continued, “I created this show after the birth of my daughter, Daisy Dove.”
It seemed like all the love I had ever wanted had finally arrived when I met her. She healed me, she made me whole, and she taught me how to play again,” she went on. “So this show is for everyone’s inner child and for the hope that maybe if we could all see life through the eyes of a child, we would be free.”
Photographers also recorded Bloom and Daisy in the crowd dancing at one point during Perry’s performance of “Chained to the Rhythm.”
In the music video for “Never Worn White,” Perry shocked her fans by disclosing that she was expecting a child with Daisy. The video was released on March 5, 2020.
A few months later, she and Bloom collaborated with UNICEF to share a black-and-white photo of themselves cuddling their newborn daughter.
Daisy is equal parts mom and dad, Perry told PEOPLE last year, adding, “She’s wonderful. She is a mix of her father and me; we are both bold, brash, and simply well-rounded individuals. Thus, our combined personality is undoubtedly shining through.”
The mother of one continued, “It’s amazing to see everything new again through a toddler’s eyes.”
“Daisy’s with me all the time, and she loves seeing Mama get ready and turn into the character,” Perry said to PEOPLE, describing how Daisy was a part of her Vegas touring routine. Additionally, I get to supervise bath time from 6:00 to 7:00. It’s an excellent regimen. I do best with routine.”
