“Former WWE Star Tammy Sytch: A Tragic Turn of Events Leading to a 17-Year Prison Sentence”

In connection with a Florida crash in 2022 that claimed the life of a 75-year-old man, Tammy Sytch, a former WWE star, was given a sentence of more than 17 years in jail.

Following her discharge for the fatal accident, Sytch, 50, will also be subject to eight years of probation, as reported by The Daytona Beach News-Journal and CBS station WKMG-TV.

According to the newspaper, the former wrestler entered a plea of not guilty on August 26 to four counts of DUI causing injury to persons and two counts of DUI causing property damage.

Just four months after being freed from an eight-month prison sentence for a prior DUI, she was arrested in May 2022.

Because of Sytch’s repeated transgressions, the prosecution sought the maximum sentence of 26 years in jail, branding her a “danger to society.”

2019 saw Sytch arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and she was later charged with her sixth DUI. She was sentenced to eight months in prison after it was alleged that she drove down a one-way street the wrong direction while her license was revoked.

According to WKMG, Sytch was given a credit of 566 days for her sentence on Monday.

On March 25, 2022, just before 8:30 p.m., Sytch collided with a car that was stopped at a traffic light while traveling south on US Highway 1. The automobile in front of Sytch, which was also stopped at the signal, was subsequently struck by the vehicle that had struck it.

At a nearby hospital, Julian Lafrancis Lasseter, a resident of Daytona Beach Shores, was declared deceased as the driver of the second vehicle. Injuries also befell the third car’s occupants and driver.

Known by her professional wrestling name Sunny, Sytch became well-known as the person many believe to be the original WWE “Diva.”

She left the company in the late 1990s and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
