The guests at Bette Midler’s Halloween party looked sharp!
Stars in their most eerie attire showed out for the Hocus Pocus actress’s annual charity event on Friday at Cipriani South Street in New York City, including Dylan Mulvaney, Padma Lakshmi, and Chloe Bailey.
Bailey, 25, showed up costumed as Catwoman for the Hulaween Gala, which was organized by the environmental justice group New York Restoration Project. Her outfit included lots and heaps of latex, thigh-high boots, and sunglasses modeled after superhero eye masks.
Along with headliner Dionne Warwick, the singer-songwriter performed at the event. In an Instagram post, she revealed a closer look at her DC-inspired attire with the comment, “I’m dangerous baby 🐈ℛ🐾.”
The singer of “Do It” also expressed her gratitude to music producer Clive Davis, who received the Wind Beneath My Wings award during the event. Bailey posted on her Instagram Story, saying, “Happy to dress up and perform for a great cause.” “Clive Davis, I love you. I am grateful that you have me.
At the event, Lakshmi, 53, posed with Bailey wearing an animal-themed costume. The former Top Chef presenter dressed like the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood, showing that she took the fairytale theme of the gala—”Once Upon a Hulaween: Scarytales & Deadtime Stories”—very literally.
The TV anchor, who was also the event chair, looked like a wolf with her furry ears, crimson hooded cape, fuzzy full-body bodysuit, and makeup.
Lakshmi posed with Awkwafina in a picture she posted to her Instagram Story. Awkwafina looked stunning in an ensemble reminiscent of Guy Fieri.
TikTok celebrity Mulvaney, 26, was also among the celebrity guests at the charity event. She embraced the fairy tale concept by dressing as Snow White with lots of ribbons.
Mulvaney had a yellow tutu, a blue velvet corset top, and a plenty of red bows. In addition, the social media celebrity cut her typical blonde hair into a jet-black bob and accessorized with stilettos, a red scarf, and a purse.
The influencer’s princess outfit seemed to match Our Lady J’s outfit, as Mulvaney showed up to the event decked out as the Evil Queen, another figure from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Mulvaney claimed to have “so much fun” at the event in a video posted on her Instagram Story, but she found it difficult to keep up with the fast-paced atmosphere of New York City.
She remarked, “I don’t know how you do it,” as she got ready to remove her makeup and Snow White wig following the banquet.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, the event chairs, together with their daughter Lola, attended the event dressed as a synchronized Día de Muertos pair.
Andy Cohen, Bryan Lourd, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Matthew Broderick are the other chairs.
