Jennifer Aniston is more self-assured than ever.
The 55-year-old Friends actor was questioned about her connection with her body in an interview with Allure that was released on Thursday, January 2. Aniston said, “Well, we really love each other.”
“We must love our bodies,” she added. It’s trying its hardest. We cannot be too harsh on it because it has been a part of our business since day one.
“There was an elderly man on the set of the movie I was working on. He was constantly working, and I had observed him at a few different jobs. “You are impressive,” I say. You just never stop, really. “I just don’t let the old man in,” he added. That had something to do with it,” Aniston continued.
The actress admitted to Allure that she used to lead a less healthy lifestyle, but now she works out at least four times a week.
We’ll all become older, of sure, but how can we live well as we age? Giving your body the attention it needs is the key to it,” Aniston stated. Personally, I thought my twenties were nothing, but I loved my thirties. I was a nightmare. I didn’t understand working out until my 30s and 40s.”
In addition to working out, The Morning Show star takes an 80-20 approach to indulgence.
“Eighty percent of healthy living is going out for a martini, going out for pizza and burgers, and staying up late with your friends.” Twenty percent is doing just that. “There is equilibrium,” she stated.
As she approaches her mid-50s, Aniston also discussed her views on aging.
Regarding her attitude toward aging, she stated, “With positivity and gratitude.” We’re still here, after all. What other options are there? I’m making an effort not to consider getting older. I try not to consider my age. The world will never stop reminding us how old you are and what women in society need to do when you’re this or that.
“I think we’re realizing how people are so impressionable,” she continued. It’s like, ‘Okay, well if they say this happens at this age, that’s what happens at this age.’ But then you go, ‘No! Who’s making these rules?!’ Our muscles are going to go limp as we get older? No, let’s keep them strong. We can make our own rules. It’s all bulls–t.”
