Model Miranda Harrison and country music artist David Morris say “I do” in a lovely ceremony with a vintage feel.
After ten years of dating, the singer and influencer exchanged vows on October 7 at the historic Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California, a hotel that brought together their shared passion for retro glamor and kitsch.
According to the couple, who spoke exclusively to PEOPLE, the quirky yet romantic venue was a “no-brainer” because it “matched the tone and aesthetic of the wedding” so well that very little in the way of decorations was actually needed.
The retro ceremony looked like a vintage Valentine’s card come to life, which is a physical testament to Harrison’s love of “vintage aesthetic and romance” – a fondness that is clear with a short glance at her Instagram.

The colors pink and red dominated, with touches of mauve, blue, green, and gold adding to the ceremony’s warm, nostalgic feel. Cherubs and hearts were among the vintage-inspired designs. (Even the six-tiered raspberry wedding cake for the newlyweds had a heart shape.)
The bride and groom wanted their big day to be “unique” and “most importantly, fun” for their 111 guests, who included Tana Mongeau and Rebecca Knox, an actress from Orange Is the New Black.
Above all, though, the ceremony was a family event, which was particularly appropriate for Morris and Harrison, who were both taken aback by the unique bond their families share.
A picture from Harrison’s fourth birthday celebration was found by the couple years into their romance, and they were both in it. They quickly discovered the reason: in the 1990s, Harrison’s mother and Morris’ father worked together.
Appropriately, the ex-coworkers and a few other family members were major players in the wedding.
Harrison’s godmother performed the ceremony as the officiant, and Morris’ father and mother served as the readers. Following the exchange of vows, Lotus, the couple’s maltipoo, walked down the aisle with the newlyweds, and Harrison’s nieces, who were 1 and 3 years old, served as flower girls.

But Harrison stole the show in Katherine Tash’s strapless, vintage-inspired dress, the Ilaria Gown. The model’s wedding footage on TikTok had over 4 million likes and over 20 million views.
Since Morris and Harrison are both singer-songwriters, it goes without saying that their wedding’s music was a highlight. Like the wedding itself, it was a lovely fusion of the old and the new.
Drake’s contemporary smash “Yebba’s Heartbreak” greeted the bride at the altar as the groom entered the aisle to the romantic song “I Choose You” by Willie Hutch from the 1970s. Following their traditional and handwritten promise exchange, “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None the Richer, a beloved romantic comedy, played during their kiss and departure.
The bride and husband danced to Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon” during their first dance at the reception, remembering a cherished moment.
The couple tells PEOPLE that after seeing Young play the song in 2016 at the Desert Trip music festival in Indio, California, they thought it “perfectly” captured their love and their growth as a couple.
Eddie Traynor, one of Morris’ groomsmen, entertained the guests later in the evening with a lively DJ set that included an unplanned appearance by the groom, who rapped his song “Dutton Ranch Freestyle.”
Morris and Harrison had been together for ten years, and he planned to spend the rest of their lives together. Morris proposed to Harrison in August 2021.The country music artist states, “Getting married is, for me, putting a stamp on an amazing relationship.” Telling the world, and each other, that this is my person. And without her, I cannot survive.
“Getting married means that we continue to choose each other every day and progress as a unit, a family, and a partnership,” Harrison continues after ten years of dating.
The model claims that her favorite quality in her spouse is his outlook on life. She tells PEOPLE, “David has a perspective on life that is unlike anyone I’ve ever met.” “Every day, his optimism, goals, and selflessness for others inspire me to be a better version of myself.”
Morris claims that his wife’s “love and kindness” “knows no bounds.”
He remarks, “The most beautiful thing in the world is the way she treats me, her friends and family, and her nieces.” “Over the past ten years, we have grown so much together and are so in sync that I can’t even begin to imagine my life or the future without her.”
