The 2024 Golden Globe Nominations Revealed

The Golden Globes are about to begin.

The 81st Golden Globe Awards, which recognize the best motion pictures and television shows of the previous year, had their nominees revealed on Monday morning by Wilmer Valderrama and Cedric the Entertainer.

Barbie had the most nominations overall (9), followed by Oppenheimer (8). Both Poor Things and Killers of the Flower Moon received seven nominations. Television’s Succession’s last season received the most nominations (nine), followed by Only Murders in the Building and The Bear, both of which received five.

This year, two new categories were introduced: greatest stand-up comic on television and cinematic and box office success in motion pictures.

Live coverage of the awards show will take place on CBS Sunday, January 7, from 8 to 11 p.m. ET, following an NFL doubleheader on the network. The program will also be accessible via the CBS app and Paramount+ streaming services.
