Top Movies with the Most 2025 Golden Globes Nominations: Including ‘Emilia Perez

The 2025 Golden Globes are the biggest honors, and many of the most critically and commercially successful films from the previous year are in the running.

The musical thriller Emilia Pérez led the pack with ten nominations when the nominations for this year’s awards presentation were revealed in December 2024. In addition to many actor nominations for the performers, the Spanish-speaking French film received nominations for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language.
As the first transgender actor to be nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Karla Sofìa Gascón created Golden Globe history. Amy Adams (Nightbitch), Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), Mikey Madison (Anora), Demi Moore (The Substance), and Zendaya (Challengers) are also in the same category as her.

Alongside Ariana Grande (Wicked), Felicity Jones (The Brutalist), Margaret Qualley (The Substance), and Isabella Rossellini (Conclave), Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldaña were nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture.
