‘This is the hard part of football’

Millie Bright, the captain of England, expresses her thoughts following the game: “It’s hard. They make an excellent team. The first half wasn’t when we were at our best. We engaged in battle in the second half. Just now, we weren’t able to finish it. The challenging thing of football is this.

At the beginning of the competition, we faced a lot of criticism. We recovered. It’s great to be able to stand here today.
