The premiere of Anne Hathaway on TikTok!
The Idea of You actress recently joined TikTok and posted a charming montage of her activities during the previous four years.
Hathaway posted video footage of her first looks at red carpet events and tearful appearances to promote her latest films, The Idea of You and WeCrashed, in her first post.
The adorable montage started with a video of the 41-year-old actress jumping and grinning while wearing an all-white outfit. The text overlay on the video said, “Since 2020 I’ve…”
Then, she showed brief clips of all of her experiences and successes. She started up by saying, “Made a movie in lockdown about lockdown✅,” alluding to her 2021 film Locked Down, which costarred Chiwetel Ejiofor.
After saying, “Tapped into my Scorpio energy and became a witch ✅,” Hathaway added a playful clip from The Witches. A video of her and co-star Jared Leto from WeCrashed attending the launch of their AppleTV+ miniseries followed.
She began by showcasing a couple of her projects before showcasing some of her fashionable looks from the last few years, which included her Met Gala outfit from 2023. A video of her reunion with 52-year-old Leto during the event was included by her.
She continued to post on TikTok, sharing glimpses of her time spent traveling the world and slaying couture. These included her 2022 Cannes Film Festival debut, her March 2022 colorful Christopher John Rogers jumpsuit, her July 2022 Rome Fashion Show appearance in a bright pink Valentino ensemble, and her May 2023 Versace moment at Bulgari’s jewelry show in Venice, Italy.
The actress then shared moments in the video where she requested fans and paparazzi to wait patiently while she got situated. “CALMA ✅” is how she titled the three videos. Then, in “less calm” video clips, Hathaway showed off her moments of breaking loose and dancing on various dance floors.
However, she soon followed that up with numerous videos of herself crying at different occasions, such as the SXSW premiere of The Idea of You and the 2024 SAG Awards. She posted a video of herself crying during the SAG Awards, as well as a second one showing her alongside Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep, her co-stars from Devil Wears Prada.
She also posted videos of herself with her partner and current “bestie,” Donatella Versace, and their appointment with celebrity trainer Monique Eastwood. Next, she instructed viewers on how to execute the “primal scream” on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show and instructed viewers on how to properly eat cupcakes on Kelly Clarkson’s show.
After showcasing her recent successes, such as her presence at SXSW and the April 29 premiere of The Idea of You, Hathaway released a TikTok in which she said she “forgot to create a TikTok” before staring straight into the camera.
