The shocking thing is that no team was eliminated in the semifinals! The judges’ ratings from tonight will carry over to the finals, which will feature all five of the surviving teams.
Who finished at the top of the leaderboard tonight?
Val Chmerkovskiy and Xochitl Gomez had the most amazing night. Both their Samba and Waltz scored in the 30s; in fact, Derek Hough claimed that the late Len Goodman would have approved of the latter dance. Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev, who had an almost flawless evening save for a 9 on their Paso Doble, were right behind them.
Who finished at the bottom of the leaderboard tonight?
Regretfully, out of all the remaining duos, Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber performed the worst due to intense competition. They received scores of 25 and 26, respectively, for their Waltz and Jive, which dropped them to the bottom of the scoreboard for the first time since Week 4. Jason Mraz, Daniella Karagach, Ariana Madix, and Pasha Pashkov were all directly above them. After receiving good, but not flawless, marks for their first dance, they received perfect scores for their second.
