Kevin Costner Sits Next to Cher at SNL50 After His Epic Reaction to Her Recent Performance at Radio City Music Hall

Two days after his dramatic response to Cher’s live performance in New York City, Kevin Costner was seen seated next to her at SNL50: The Anniversary Special.

Cher, 78, was one of several renowned performers who made an appearance at “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” on Friday, February 14 at Radio City Music Hall. Although her performance of “If I Can Turn Back Time” caused the star-studded audience to stand up, according to Newsweek, Costner appeared especially happy and moved.

The 70-year-old Yellowstone alum was seen grabbing the sides of his head as the camera moved to the crowd during the song, as if he was completely in awe of the 78-year-old music icon.

Then, during a humorous Q&A hosted by previous cast members Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Costner and Cher were spotted seated next to each other in the crowd during the celebrity-filled Sunday, February 16 anniversary special. Cher had a blonde updo and a plunging black gown with crystals, while Costner wore a black button-up and black blazer.

When Ryan Reynolds, a fellow audience member, got up to question Fey, 54, and Poehler, 53, about if the cones from the class’s “Cone Heads” jokes were “edible,” Fey responded that they weren’t and that they were probably poisonous.
During the segment, more well-known faces were seen in the audience, including David Letterman, Blake Lively, Conan O’Brien, Anya Joy-Taylor, and Drew Barrymore.

The three-day celebration of the show’s 50 years on the air and its influence in American comedy comes to a head with the live event. Since its October 11, 1975, debut, Saturday Night Live has established itself as a cultural icon. Innumerable comedians, actresses, and musicians have also had their careers begun by it.
