‘Law & Order: SVU’ Guest Star Set to Make a Comeback After 14 Years”

David Krumholtz (Oppenheimer, The Deuce), making his Law & Order: SVU comeback, will be back on the show fourteen years after his début.

The actor, known as “10 Things About You” to those of us who grew up in the 1990s, hinted at his impending cameo on Instagram earlier this month by sharing a selfie with Ice-T, a regular of SVU. However, at the time, it was unclear who exactly he would be playing. Would he portray a different character entirely, or would he return to his role as Dr. Vincent Prochik from the Season 12 episode “Wet”?

According to a preview that aired following SVU on Thursday night, Krumholtz will reportedly play a new character in the third episode of Season 25 (“The Punch List”). In the video, we see his character, dazed and only wearing his panties, waking up on the floor of a broken-in flat. A scenario in which a lady reports a rape to Olivia Benson is cut into it. The woman admits, “I’m the rapist,” but there’s a catch.

The team will “assist a man in confronting the trauma of victimization,” according to the summary of the episode. Krumholtz appears to be that man.
