Ben Higgins is become a father!
The 35-year-old former Bachelor and his spouse, Jessica Clarke, announced the arrival of their first child on Instagram.
Higgins wrote, “Update and more to come, but baby girl Higgins has entered the world,” next to a picture of himself gazing at his newborn daughter with a tear in his eye. As the infant lay in a hospital bed, Clarke held her.
“She is in good health. @jessclarke_ is thriving. I still have no words to describe what happened, but as of right now, Jess is doing incredibly well and we have a daughter. “We should give thanks to the doctors and nurses who looked after us,” Higgins wrote.
Although he is “biased,” the reality star claimed that his “baby girl” is “real beautiful.”
Her face was covered in emojis, so he went on to say, “This beauty will be revealed soon but first she needs a bath.”
In a touching Instagram Reel posted in August, the couple revealed that Clarke was expecting a girl.
The video, which the couple posted together on their individual Instagram profiles, included snippets of various events throughout their relationship, such as their engagement, wedding scenes, and adorable moments of them cuddling.
“The next phase of our romantic journey! The couple teased the baby’s due date by captioning the video, “Baby girl coming in February ❤️.”
At his baby shower in December 2024, Higgins talked to PEOPLE about becoming a girl dad and admitted that he’s been growing more anxious as the day of his daughter’s arrival draws near.
He described parenting a daughter as “frightful,” adding that he is a “sensitive dude” who is aware that “a girl is going to break me and I don’t know in what ways yet, but it and I’m prepared for it.”
“I’m ready to be the guy that she leans on to talk about boys, and I’m ready to be the example for who she desires in a relationship, and I’m excited about that responsibility,” he said, lovingly telling PEOPLE. I believe it gives me a small role in a new phase of my life.

In November 2021, Higgins and Clarke exchanged vows in a lavish wedding at The Estate in Cherokee Dock, which is close to Nashville.
Other former cast members of the Bachelor franchise, including Nick Viall, Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconnetti, and groomsman Wells Adams, were among the guests.
