When the 63-year-old George Lopez star made an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Thursday, February 13, several viewers were taken aback by his hairstyle.
On Thursday, February 13, a video of the Lopez v. Lopez star taking part in the show’s recognizable spirit tunnel was posted to the official Instagram account for the daytime talk show. However, Lopez’s lengthy gray hair astounded online users.
As he strolled down the corridor to the staff’s performance of the well-known theme song from his old sitcom, Lopez flaunted his shoulder-length, light gray hair and gray beard.

He wore a dark navy blue suit and matching navy blue jumper when he made an appearance. There, he talked about his Madame Tussauds wax figure and his fifty years in the entertainment business.
“I don’t look like that anymore,” he stated knowingly in 2010 when Hudson showed him a photo of the sculpture.
Lopez recounted his flirtatious encounter with a guard while viewing his wax statue at the museum. “I entered to take a look at it. The guard said, “Hey, leave that guy alone,” as I was standing around it.
“Hey man, that’s me,” I said. “That ain’t you,” he recalled, before joking that he would like to have another one that looked like him now.
Lopez had been seen sporting the gray hairstyle in previous months before his appearance on Thursday. He was spotted wearing the ensemble as he presented with Jesse Tyler Furegson and Damon Wayans at the 76th Emmy Awards in September 2024.
In honor of his most recent sitcom, Lopez v. Lopez, he flaunted his growing hair at the NBC Fall Comedy Celebration the next month.
In Seasons two and three, his comedic character George likewise had long hair.
He told PEOPLE that although the show might be his final effort, he is only experiencing happy feelings.
“It is pleased by it. Regarding his future professional plans, Lopez stated, “I mean, I would like for it to go a few more seasons, but yeah, after this, I’d like to have a little time for myself.”
