The information she is looking for about these crimes and the person or people responsible also helps to explain why the murderer singles her out. An enigmatic sequence that leaves many questions about the protagonist unresolved then marks the end of the second installment! BEWARE OF SPOILERS.

The Snow Girl Season 2 Recap

After receiving a photograph that purports to show Laura Valdivia, Miren Rojo begins investigating her disappearance in the second season of “The Snow Girl.” Belén Millán and her officers begin looking into the murder of Allison Hernández, who is discovered dead in an abandoned motel, while she thoroughly examines the case. The photos taken at the crime site are sold to newspapers by the people who discovered her dead, and they also wind up at Diario Sur. With Jaime Bernal as her colleague, Miren is given the duty. The journalist comes to the conclusion that Laura and Allison are related because they were both pupils at Los Arcos, a well-known school in Málaga.

Miren begins the task by speaking with the principal of the school, Andrés Garrido. Since the school is Jaime’s alma mater, his notoriety enables the two of them to enter and speak with the administration and students. Miren meets Laura’s brother, Nacho Valdivia, in this way. She soon gains his trust, despite his initial reluctance to assist her in looking into the two cases. In the meantime, she gets a note from the same individual who brought her Laura’s picture. According to the article, she will discover the answers she seeks by participating in a game known as “The Soul Game,” which consists of a series of tasks one must accomplish in order to demonstrate their faith.

Her mentor and professor, Eduardo Vergara, dies of a heart attack around this time, causing Miren to face a significant setback. She is left powerless by the death and is overcome with grief. Because of her weakness, she also finds the confidence to begin playing The Soul Game in an attempt to learn the truth about Allison’s and possibly Laura’s true fates. The journalist asks Nacho the same question because she is certain that Allison was exposed to the game while she was at Los Arcos. He points her in the direction of Borja Pineda, a classmate, who discloses that he played the game and suffered a potentially fatal injury as a result.

Without knowing about the photo his coworker received, Jaime attempts to find out what happened to Laura while Miren concentrates her inquiry on Allison. Tomás Mendoza, the victim’s lover and a clear suspect in the crime, comes into focus. It is via him that the writer learns that a storekeeper saw Laura alive years ago when she got into a car with someone she knew. Tomás’ father, Alberto Mendoza, steps in and prevents the reporter from speaking to his son before he can continue the investigation. After verifying its existence with Borja’s assistance, Miren presents The Soul Game to Jaime, who then redirects his focus to it.

The latter journalist turns to a notorious reporter and mentor named Manuel Ramos for assistance because Miren and Jaime lack a source more familiar with The Soul Game. According to the seasoned journalist, Laura and Allison are not the only students to suffer a horrible end while attending Los Arcos, as another girl inexplicably passed away in the 1980s. He refers the two journalists to Emilia Pedraza, who was a teacher at the same school at the time, despite the fact that he doesn’t offer anything further. Alberto and Garrido were classmates and the original members of the Ravens of God, a religious organization that got together to debate the Bible and test each other’s beliefs, she explains to Jaime.

Jaime finds out from Emilia that The Soul Game is the brainchild of Alberto and Garrido. Their classmate, Alicia Martos, was killed as a result of them using the game to test her faith. Garrido becomes a suspect when Allison’s grandma discovers her grandchild’s Bible in his closet at the same time. Belén Millán is contacted by Jaime and Miren to explain the origin of The Soul Game and how the school principal might be responsible for the murder. However, Garrido is released after the police are unable to locate his fingerprints in Allison’s Bible. Even though he rebuilt the school with his beliefs, Alberto tells him immediately after he escapes the police detention that he will be fired from his position as principal of Los Arcos.

The Snow Girl Season 2 Ending: Who is the Raven of God?

Miren Rojo’s inquiry comes to a standstill as Andrés Garrido leaves the police custody as a free man. Even if it takes going back to the location where she was raped and setting her study materials about missing girls like Laura and Amaya Martín Núñez on fire, she resolves to finish The Soul Game in order to identify Allison’s killer. However, just prior to the last mission, the journalist chooses to inform the authorities about her involvement in The Soul Game, which compels the murderer or the Raven of God to come forward. Laura’s brother, Nacho Valdivia, who assists her in finishing the tasks, is the person she has been looking for.

As a student of Los Arcos, Nacho became aware of The Soul Game of Alberto and Garrido. For the little kid at the time, life was just intolerable when he lost his sister to an unknowable fate and his parents to a fire. He felt in control of the players, something he had never had in his life, thanks to the game and its underpinnings. As a defenseless person, he had to see his loved ones leave him and be abandoned. He regains authority and control over other people’s lives or outcomes by taking on the role of the Raven of God. As the brains behind the rebuilt game, Nacho experienced what it was like to have power over something or someone for the first time in his life.

By selecting his lonely friend Borja as the first player, Nacho breathed new life into the game. The game offered the latter a feeling of purpose, which inspired him to finish the challenges because he was living a life that was meaningless and lonely. After years of loneliness, Borja finally found a kind master in the Raven of God, who was unaware that the latter was Nacho. Once Borja’s assignments were successfully finished, the small child focused on Allison, who was also having a lot of difficulties at the moment. She was the ideal target for Nacho because she was living a wicked life after becoming pregnant outside of marriage.

Nacho then gave Allison a number of assignments that were similar to the ones he had Borja perform. The young girl’s pregnancy at the time made her extremely susceptible. Her suffering was exacerbated by the fact that not even her granny helped her. Because she lacked the funds to proceed with the operation, her attempts to abort the baby also failed miserably. Having a master who looked out for her may have appeared like a beacon of hope during these trying times. Nacho killed her by using this power dynamic. Because he thought she couldn’t save herself from her immoral life, he finally stabbed her to death.

What Happened to Laura Valdivia?

When Andrés Garrido loses his job and reputation without cause, the mystery surrounding Laura Valdivia comes to light. He witnesses his buddy and ally, Alberto, walking away without facing the repercussions of his deeds as he is crucified for crimes he did not commit. This prompts him to tell Jaime the real reason Laura vanished. The journalist is informed by the school administrator that the missing girl was pregnant with Alberto’s child at the time of her disappearance and had an affair with him. He goes on to say that they used to get together at one of the businessman’s houses, The Green House.

After sharing this delicate information with Tomás, Jaime tells him where The Green House is, where he discovers an adult Laura and her kid. Alberto became aware that his family ties and reputation were in jeopardy when the young girl became pregnant. His connection with his wife and child would have been destroyed if he had revealed to the public that he was the father of her son’s partner’s child. Due to his inability to disclose that he had pregnant a schoolgirl, the businessman—who has been considered the de facto King of Málaga—hided her in a house close to The Green House.

Laura had reached her lowest point at that point. She was grieving the loss of her parents, who had been killed in a fire. Alberto, who was enthralled with his young sweetheart, was the result of her weakness and her desperate search for love. She agreed to the businessman’s complex plan to pose as a lost girl in exchange for him being in her life. She never dreamed of a life outside of her new house and family because of the way he took care of her, which satiated her need for love. She apparently believed that contacting her adored brother would endanger Alberto’s scheme and destroy her relationship with him, therefore she dared not even do it.

Laura therefore made the decision to stay with her son in her new home. She was persuaded to be faithful to Alberto by his sporadic visits. She rejects the theory that her low self-esteem is the reason she stayed with him. According to her, the businessman fulfilled her desires, and she was content and happy as a result.

Why Does Nacho Target Miren? Whose Photo Does He Send Her?

Miren questions why the Raven of God singles her out throughout the second season of “The Snow Girl.” Because of an unmet commitment she made to him, Nacho expressly forces her to play The Soul Game. Miren was a budding journalist who reported on Laura’s disappearance. She once assured a young Nacho that she would track out his sister so they could be back together. Miren made the pledge without any consideration or anxiety. Like all journalists at some point in their careers, her story was all that mattered to her at the time. But for Nacho, who interpreted the promise as assurance and hope, it was not the case.

Nacho found Laura’s departure intolerable as a small child, especially after losing their parents in a fire. His feelings of abandonment and loneliness during this time were very intense. Miren gave such a helpless little guy hope, and she failed to maintain it, causing him great pain. When the journalist discovered Amaya Martín Núñez and rose to fame, Nacho’s suffering only became worse. Regardless of her pledge, the world applauded her efforts to find a missing girl and return her to her parents, something that didn’t happen in Laura’s situation. Nacho had animosity toward the journalist because he was unable to get over the fact that she had discovered Amaya rather than his sister.

Because of this animosity, Nacho singled out Miren. He wanted to harm her because she had given him false hope or promises, which had caused him anguish. He might have wished to show the world that she is not a celebrity, as everyone thinks, by catching her. As he would have predicted, he also murders her professor and mentor, Eduardo Vergara, for this reason, causing her to suffer unimaginably. Nacho must entice Miren to him in order to get his revenge on her, which is why he sends her the picture. The picture does not belong to Laura, even if he signs his sister’s name on it. Allison is probably used to capture it. To put it another way, Nacho uses the picture of his victim to force Miren to look into Laura’s case once more, which brings her to him so he can get even.

Where Does Miren Go? What is the Significance of the Slide Discs?

Nacho attempts to murder Miren after identifying himself as the Raven of God and Allison’s murderer. But she kills him with his own knife. She vanishes into thin air after this potentially fatal event. A group of police officers in Madrid, meanwhile, carry out a raid that results in the discovery of a hidden room full of discs bearing the emblem of Slide, the child pornographic website mentioned in the first season of the thriller series. The video tape of Miren’s rape appears to be on one of the CDs. There may be a connection between this police raid and the journalist’s disappearance after leaving her position.

The journalist must have come to the realization that she cannot risk her life to finish a job after Miren’s altercation with Nacho. When she attempted to locate Amaya, the same thing occurred. She might have realized she couldn’t risk her life again after escaping death twice. She must have been persuaded to labor without being exposed to the outside world by this realization. Uncovering Slide to the world and describing the police raid—which must have been planned based on her intelligence—can be her first task as an unseen seeker of truth.

It’s interesting to note that Belén Millán gets a transfer out of Málaga before the police raid. She might have ended up in Madrid and teamed up with Miren to look into crimes that don’t directly involve them risking their lives. They might have made the decision to work together permanently without putting their lives in danger after two fruitful partnerships.
