During the third week of The Bachelor, Grant Ellis might have ended up in the doghouse.
Host Jesse Palmer revealed at the start of the February 10 program that there would be two one-on-one dates in addition to one group date. Beverly and Carolina scored one-on-ones because Natalie, Bailey, Alexe, Alli Jo, Chloie, Sarafiena, Dina, Parisa, Rose, Zoe, Litia, and Juliana went on the group date.
Grant, 31, asked comedian Hannah Berner and Daniel Lubetzky, the founder of KIND Snacks, to assist in teaching the women about finance during the group outing. According to their answers to questions about money (such as how much they would like Grant to spend on an engagement ring and when their credit card was last declined), Hannah, 33, awarded the women GrantBucks. The woman who had the most would be given more time with Grant at the afterparty, where they could use the money for benefits.
During the date, Parisa, 29, sat next to Grant, and Bailey, 27, attempted to embellish her responses for Hannah in order to earn the maximum GrantBucks. However, the 27-year-old Zoe disliked the game.
The tech engineer and model told the cameras, “I like rules and clear-cut answers, but it seemed like today it was more like, maybe try to be funny or witty.” “Today’s game was strange because it wasn’t really about finance.”
Following her victory in a money-blowing machine, Bailey cashed in her GrantBucks for a champagne toast with The Bachelor himself and one of his t-shirts.
At the afterparty, Zoe still felt excluded, telling the others, “He was not looking at me at all.”
When Zoe drew Grant away for additional time during the basketball group date, the other women didn’t feel sorry for her. During an on-camera interview, Alli Jo declared, “This is The Bachelor, not The Zoe Show.”
While Sarafiena remarked, “That’s the shortest dress I’ve ever seen in my life,” Zoe sobbed and placed an order for another drink.
After hearing the remark, Zoe pondered what she had done to merit it. “What have I done or said to anyone that has been cruel throughout this whole f—ing time?” Chloie, 27, was asked by Zoe.
Zoe informed Grant about Sarafeina’s remarks without mentioning names. Grant then spoke to the group about it.
At the afterparty, he gave Parisa the group date rose and then remarked, “There have been some rumors about people belittling and just making people feel uncomfortable in the house.” “We must treat one another with kindness. Thank you all, and I hope to see you soon.
All of the women at the mansion sobbed as they worried about what Zoe had said to Grant.
In an on-camera interview, Rose, 27, stated, “A lot of people were shook.”
FIRST ONE-ON-ONE DATE
In the meantime, 28-year-old Carolina was excited to travel to Las Vegas with Grant. “This was completely unexpected,” she remarked.
They had dinner at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub after bungee jumping from a tower in Vegas. Inquiring about Carolina’s readiness for marriage, Grant began the evening.
“I think it took learning a lot more about myself to figure out this is what I want in my life, this is what I don’t want,” the public relations producer said to Grant, adding that she had always desired marriage and children.
As Carolina revealed her epilepsy to Grant, she began to cry.
“I started experiencing tremors around the age of thirteen,” she remarked. “I was embarrassed when I had a seizure one morning when we were heading to school after my parents had me to every doctor and we were unable to determine what it was. I don’t want anyone to think poorly of me because of it.
Carolina advised Grant to think about “whether that’s something that you want to deal with or not” after explaining that medicine had helped her manage her seizures.
The day trader said Carolina, “I want you to know that I’m starting to feel things for you and that’s not going to stand in the way at all.” “I will always put you first if we get married, no matter what you need.”
Carolina coming out to Grant “shows me that she’s serious about this” process, Grant told the cameras. With the Vegas cityscape in the backdrop, he gave her a rose as he bid her good-bye for the evening.
SECOND ONE-ON-ONE
When Beverly became ill and was unable to return home, their second one-on-one date evolved into a mini-group outing. Rather, that week, Grant asked Dina, 31, Litia, 31, and Sarafiena out on a second date.
In order to assist Bravo actress Lisa Vanderpump in caring for some of the rescue’s canines, the foursome traveled to Vanderpump Dogs in Los Angeles. Lisa, 64, said, “I love dogs more than people.”
After Dina offered to clean one of the puppies with Grant, he and Sarafiena went for a stroll with another dog. “I did not expect my feelings to be this strong at this point,” Litia said to Grant while she and a third dog were hanging out at a park.
That night, Grant decided to spend more time with Litia.
In an on-camera interview, Grant stated, “Yes, she is beautiful, but she’s also so genuine and she has a nurturing spirit about her that I feel like that’s something that I’m looking for.” “She gave me a preview of my future today.”
Litia revealed her story of growing up with a single mother after her father passed away when she was three years old, and Grant told her about his father’s addiction over dinner.
“Love is it to me,” Grant said Litia. “I know how much you miss your mom, and I appreciate that you’re so honest and open with me because that’s the piece I’m missing.”
As a result, Grant called Litia’s mother via FaceTime as a surprise. Litia said to the cameras, “It meant a lot to me.”
Grant gave Litia a rose to round off the evening, which he also enjoyed. Grant told her, “I’m beginning to feel something for you.”
He admitted in front of the cameras, “After tonight, Litia could be my wife.”
PROM PARTY AND ROSE CEREMONY
“Will you go to prom with me?” was written on a box of corsages that Alli Jo discovered at the mansion door.
Grant then went inside and told the women that he wanted to get his opportunity at prom because he never went because he was too focused on basketball. He also invited Gary, Jack, Jonathan, and Keith from The Golden Bachelorette to attend the dance so that he wouldn’t be the only man there.
At prom, Jack gave a scathing demonstration as Grant made fun of several of the women.
During her prom speech, Zoe wanted to “focus on the positivity” with Grant. The reality star agreed when she told Grant that she didn’t have a prom date and that she would love to dance with him.
Zoe remarked, “Compared to our last date, this feels more in my element.”
However, Rose reported that on a week two group date, Grant danced with Carolina and said he was thinking about her, which made Carolina wonder if she meant anything to him.
The former basketball player wanted to know who told her that when Carolina questioned him about it. “It’s a lie and a judgment on my character, so something in there doesn’t make sense and seems kind of personal,” Grant remarked.
Carolina declined when Grant inquired as to whether Bailey, Dina, or Litia had made that claim to her. Carolina stated, “I do not want this to be a thing.”
Grant was perplexed by that. He pondered, “Who was on the group date? I didn’t say that.”
Grant started interrogating the women because he wanted to “get to the bottom of this.” Rose, 27, said, “I thought that was something that I heard you say,” when he spoke to her.
“That’s some player s— for me to disparage someone else with whom I have a connection,” Grant remarked. “I don’t play.”
On a group date, one woman straddles Grant Ellis and makes out with him, sparking the drama on The Bachelor.
Rose said she was sorry. The registered nurse stated, “I could have easily made that mistake where I really thought that you said something like that and I was just wrong.”
At the rose ceremony, Grant continued to give Rose a rose despite their past disagreement. Zoe, Juliana, Alexe, Dina, Natalie, and Sarafiena were also given roses by him.
In an on-camera interview, Grant said, “I chose to give Rose that rose tonight because we have a connection.” “She expressed regret, and ultimately, everyone makes mistakes,” she said. I believe that letting it go and moving on is the best course of action.
