When anime productions employ fan service to explore Ecchi, it’s a lot of fun, but it can also be frustrating at times. This is a list of some of the sexiest anime series available on Hulu. In addition to having captivating plots and compelling characters, many of the shows listed below also contain sexual connotations that somehow enhance the narrative. The best adult anime available on Hulu is listed here; several of these are R-rated.
Ishura (2024- )
“Ishura,” a compelling action-adventure fantasy series directed by Takeo Takahashi, is set in the aftermath of the demon king’s demise, which left the world unbalanced and characterized by a power vacuum. Naturally, self-styled demon kings from different planets are eager to assert their dominance and are traveling to the New Principality of Lithia to do so. They include Soujirou Yagyuu, a skilled swordsman, and Tooi Kagizume no Yuno, a young girl.
The Aureatian Kingdom, on the other hand, has been sending bandits to assault the convoys of goods traveling across the city in an effort to destabilize Lithia. As a result, Imashime of Taren, the Aureatian creator of Lithia, dispatched his ruthless thief Kasasagi no Dakai to look into the attacks. Thus, there are two impending confrontations, and it remains to be seen how one will impact the other. “Ishura,” a true-to-form adult series based on Keiso’s light novel series, combines deep worldbuilding and nuanced characters to provide a seamless anime experience. The Promised Neverland (2019-2021)
Among many other honors, “The Promised Neverland,” which is based on the manga series by Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu, was nominated for Best Anime Series at the IGN Awards and won Best Fantasy at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
The story revolves around three orphaned siblings who discover that their orphanage is essentially a demon takeaway restaurant. The orphanage (also known as a farm), one of several located in the demon realm, breeds intellectual people for demons to consume and keep their demonic sanity because of a vow made between humans and demons a millennium ago. Together with the other kids from every farm, the three attempts to flee the orphanage after learning the terrible reality, facing out against the demonic troops of Legravalima, the demon queen. Does that seem intriguing? As you watch “The Promised Neverland” online, we’d want to let you know that a live-action version is also being developed.
Tokyo Revengers (2021- )
Based on the manga series by Ken Wakui, “Tokyo Revengers” is a shonen anime directed by Koichi Hatsumi. It centers on 26-year-old Takemichi Hanagaki, a washed-up individual who leads a depressing and unsuccessful life. When he learns that his middle school girlfriend Hinata and her brother have been murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang, things get much worse. Then, just as his life is about to expire, he is magically transported back in time to when he was still dating Hinata, twelve years ago.
Before mysteriously going back to the future, he sees her brother and warns him of the threat to his life and that of his sister. He chooses to use his ability to change time to protect his few loved ones and, if possible, to influence the future after realizing that he can do so. “Tokyo Revengers,” which won the 17th AnimaniA Awards’ Best Online Series prize, skillfully blends time travel and repercussions into an engaging plot. Suicide Squad Isekai (2024- )
“Suicide Squad Isekai” is a mature anime series produced by Warner Bros. Japan and directed by Eri Osada. It is based on the DC Comics antihero/supervillain Suicide Squad. Recruited by Amanda Waller, the head of the A.R.G.U.S. (Advanced Research Group Uniting Super-Humans), the Suicide Squad—which includes supervillains Harley Quinn, Peacemaker, Deadshot, King Shark, and Clayface—is sent on a mission to an alternate realm of orcs, dragons, and magic known as the Isekai. They are in the midst of a conflict between the Kingdom and the Imperial Army, and they have just seventy-two hours left before the bombs in their necks explode. “Suicide Squad Isekai” makes good use of the anime format, particularly with regard to the characters and action that complement the narrative. Highschool of the Dead (2010)
Tetsuro Araki is the director of the miniseries “Highschool of the Dead,” which is based on the well-known manga of the same name by Daisuke Sato. A group of students at Fujimi High School, with a particular focus on Takashi Komuro, attempt to survive the apocalypse and fend off zombies while battling with their morals in a deadly dynamic environment. The series is set against the backdrop of a zombie apocalypse brought on by a new disease. With its graphic and bloody content and apparent sexual overtones, “Highschool of the Dead” gives a zombie outbreak storyline an adult anime perspective. The series is available to view here.
Nana (2006–2007)
Ai Yazawa’s manga of the same name served as the inspiration for this series, which was directed by Morio Asaka. We follow Nana Komatsu and Nana Osaki, two young ladies from diverse origins who decide to live together in Tokyo and end up becoming friends. We watch them struggle through the trials life throws at them as they become inseparable, with Nana seeking romance and Osaki striving for stardom. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation (2021 -)
Inspired by the Japanese light novel series of the same name by Rifujin na Magonote, “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation” is an isekai fantasy series with a cast of skilled voice actresses, including Yumi Uchiyama, Konomi Kohara, Ai Kakuma, and Ai Kayano. A 34-year-old shut-in who has lived an uninspired life and has no more goals to live for is the subject of the show. It seems as though he will finally be released from his depressing circumstances when his life ends tragically. In a fantasy realm, however, he is somehow resurrected as Rudeus Greyrat to devoted parents. He is mature enough to take use of the opportunity to make sure he doesn’t live another life filled with regrets because he has kept his intellect. One of the greatest isekai series available is “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation,” however it is only appropriate for mature viewers. Characters participate in sexual acts, and there are innumerable moments of nudity. The program is available to stream online.
Black Butler (2008 – 2009)
In Victorian England, young Ciel Phantomhive puts out a lot of effort for Her Majesty and will stop at nothing to make sure he completes all of his assigned tasks. Sebastian Michaelis, the butler, uses his superhuman abilities to help him achieve near-perfection. Everyone is unaware of the grim truth, though, that Sebastian is a demon who made a deal with Ciel during one of the lowest times in his life. Unaware of the drastic shift in their own dynamics that will result from their long-term collaboration, the unusual pair now collaborates in the hopes of finally discovering the sinister secrets underlying Ciel’s misfortunes. The story told in the series is incredibly depressing and agonizing. In an effort to portray the show as unvarnished as possible, “Black Butler” includes a number of erotic sequences that challenge the audience’s sensibilities. Chainsaw Man (2022 -)
The violent action animation “Chainsaw Man” by MAPPA is renowned for its unfiltered depiction of graphic violence. The show centers on an unfortunate adolescent who is deprived of the opportunity to have a normal life due to his late father’s crippling debt, which he must pay off by taking on odd jobs. He has no one else in the world he can rely on save for his pet, a chainsaw devil named Pochita. Therefore, Pochita makes a deal with Denji and gives him demon powers when he is dead after being betrayed by a rapacious yakuza. For Denji, this is the start of a new life where he may finally enjoy the simple pleasures that life has always promised.
Despite being well-known for its thrilling plot and world-building, the action series “Chainsaw Man” was undoubtedly not created with a younger audience in mind. The protagonist frequently discusses his desire to touch breasts, and the show frequently experiments with sexually suggestive dialogue. Denji touches Power’s breasts in the restroom during one of the scenes. In another episode, the main character makes love to Himeno, as if this wasn’t already intense enough. Heavenly Delusion (2023 -)
In “Heavenly Delusion,” viewers are transported to a post-apocalyptic planet that was brought to its current state by an extraordinary calamity that happened about 15 years ago. Currently, a group of kids reside at a specific institution under the watchful eye of people who seem to be looking out for their best interests. When Tokio, one of the kids, expresses curiosity in the outside world, her companion assures her that two individuals will someday save her from it, one of whom will have an exact likeness to her.
It’s interesting to note that her prophecies seem to be partially true as a youngster named Maru, who resembles Tokio exactly, uses his companion Kiruko to help him find heaven. The science fiction series is packed with mysterious twists and turns that keep viewers hooked. In its realistic portrayal of the world, the show leaves no stone unturned. Nudity is quite common in almost every other episode, and there are also several semi-nude scenes. Furthermore, we have suggestive sex moments that just add to the overall sexual appeal of the anime. In one of the episodes, there is an implied rape scene as well, which just goes on to show that ‘Heavenly Delusion’ or ‘Tengoku Daimakyo’ should not be watched by a younger audience. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (2016 -)
The Joestar family is an extraordinary household whose members are naturally bestowed with powers that they use to fight supernatural enemies. ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’ tells their exciting story in different parts, each focusing on a specific Joestar family member. While the supernatural series is famous for its action-packed shows, fans must be familiar with the fact that the anime, in its rare moments, does include brief nude and semi-nude scenes. High School of the Dead (2010)
Want to be turned on and pumped up with a rush of adrenaline at the same time? Then, ‘High School of the Dead‘ is the perfect anime for you as it includes some of the sexiest adult scenes, and it is full of intense zombie-slaying action. If you’re still having second thoughts about this one, then just think of a zombie getting beaten to a pulp by a half-naked, sexy woman. That is exactly what ‘High School of the Dead’ is all about. Devils’ Line (2018)
‘Devils’ Line’ introduces viewers to a world where vampires exist as part of society’s underbelly. Like most people, a university student named Tsukasa Taira is clueless about their existence until her longtime friend reveals his true identity following a confrontation with a human and vampire hybrid, Yuuki Anzai. After the strange incident, Taira and Anzai start to form a complex relationship that is put at risk by the latter’s involuntary instinct to devour the former. There is a sex scene in the series that depicts moments in which a girl dreams of making love with a guy. There are other hot moments, too, but the ones mentioned above are the most intense and sexy. Kill la Kill (2013- 2014)
Some might even argue that ‘Kill la Kill‘ does not even deserve to be on this list since the Ecchi elements in it are more of a sidelined thing. But then, what makes this a worthy entry on this list is its use of typical overly sexualized anime troupes to poke fun at the commonalities of the other cliched anime shows of today. Dragonar Academy (2014)
‘Dragonar Academy’ follows Ash Blake, a first-year student at the Ansarivan Dragonar Academy, which teaches riding and taming dragons. Considered a laughing stock and deemed the “number one problem child” by his fellow classmates, Blake’s life finally takes a positive turn when his dragon awakens in the form of a beautiful girl. The story focuses on Ash’s journey to win social validation and respect while he discovers his own purpose in the process. Although the show is set in a school for teenagers, there are several nude scenes throughout its twelve-episode run. You can stream the anime here.
Attack on Titan (2013–2023)
Adapted from Hajime Isayama’s manga series, ‘Attack on Titan’ is set in a post-apocalyptic Earth where humans are at war with huge giant humanoids known as Titan who devour everything in their path, including humans. The story focuses on Eren Yeager, who joins the elite Survey Corps and fights against the Titans while investigating their history, origin, weaknesses, and strengths. Rated A due to its visceral and gruesome nature, ‘Attack on Titan’ is considered one of the greatest anime shows ever, smartly bending horror, destruction, and death in a visually stunning manner, offering a unique take on the post-apocalyptic genre.
