WWE’s Charlotte Flair Seeks Divorce from Andrade

Andrade El Idolo and Charlotte Flair are no longer together.

PEOPLE reported on February 5 that Charlotte Flair, whose real name is Ashley Fliehr, filed for divorce on June 18, 2024, and that a judge formalized their divorce on October 10, 2024. The news was initially reported by TMZ.

The couple’s absence from each other’s Instagram accounts has been noticeable since Flair filed for divorce in June. When they visited Paris in May 2024, it was their last time posting together.

In 2019, Flair, 38, started dating her fellow WWE star, 35. In January 2020, Andrade—real name Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza—popped the question to Flair.

El Idolo’s birthplace of Torreón, Mexico, is where they got married in May 2022.

“Before I met him, I did not know anything except my job,” Flair said of Andrade following their marriage. “He introduced me to travel, life, love, and a different culture when we first met. Additionally, I was really rigid at work and had no idea how to balance work and life. And he made that possible for me.”

Flair’s other marriages were to Thomas Latimer from 2013 to 2015 and Riki Johnson from 2010 to 2013.

Flair is the most successful female wrestler in the WWE, having won more Women’s Titles than any other superstar. She was sidelined for more than a year after tearing her knee ligaments in a December 2023 WWE SmackDown bout against Asuka.

When she defeated 29 other wrestlers in the Royal Rumble Match in Indianapolis on Saturday, February 1, she made a comeback.

Flair is the daughter of Ric Flair, a WWE superstar. On July 31, 2022, in Nashville, Ric Flair’s Last Match, his comeback event, featured her now-ex-husband as a partner.
